N2O Pro

N2O Pro unlocks the full power of two-way sync.

Every new user starts on a free 14-day trial that includes every Pro feature, on up to 2 of your devices, the same as a paid licence. The trial caps you at 300 synced pages and runs for 14 days. When it ends, Pro or Lifetime keeps you syncing and removes the page cap.

That table lists what a licence actually decides, and nothing else. Everything below is the same on all three, because no plan turns it on or off:

  • Property types. 21 of Notion’s 23 map to frontmatter.
  • Smart merge. The block-level three-way merge that makes two-way sync safe.
  • Priority support. Ask me on GitHub or by email, on the trial as well.
  • Block types. Every block type N2O supports comes into Obsidian. A few cannot be recreated in Notion when your edits go back: numbered-list formatting restarts at 1, a table of contents block is not rebuilt, and an auto-expanded URL embed cannot be created (the one you already have is left alone). The full list is in Limitations.

Edit in either place and N2O reconciles both sides with a smart merge. It uses content-aware block diffing to apply targeted updates - only changed blocks are modified, not the entire page - so nothing gets clobbered.

Turn it on and N2O brings Notion edits into your vault on its own. It checks about once a minute while you’re active and backs off when idle, so it stays light on Notion’s rate limit. A periodic full re-sync also picks up new pages and deletions. Near-real-time, not instant.

Edit a note in Obsidian and N2O sends the changes back to Notion after a short pause (3-30 seconds, configurable). Your vault and Notion stay in step without running Sync each time.

Define how synced pages look using templates stored in _templates/n2o/. Use {{property.Name}}, {{body}}, conditional blocks, and loops. One template per database.

The trial syncs up to 300 pages. Pro and Lifetime remove the cap - sync your full Notion workspace.

Pro users get priority responses on GitHub issues and email support.

PlanPriceDetails
Pro Monthly$8/monthGet Monthly - cancel any time, keep it to the end of the period you paid for.
Pro Annual$80/yearGet Annual - twelve months for the price of ten.
Pro Lifetime$299 one-timeGet Lifetime - pay once, use forever.

A free 14-day trial (no credit card) is available to try every feature before purchasing. All sales are final: there are no refunds, which is why the trial is there.

Students and academic staff pay $79 once, forever. Get the academic price using your university email address.

Prefer Gumroad? You can buy Monthly, Annual or Lifetime there instead. Your key is issued through Polar either way, so it activates identically. Existing Gumroad subscriptions keep working and are still billed and cancelled through Gumroad.

  1. Purchase a license: Monthly, Annual or Lifetime.
  2. Copy your license key from the confirmation email.
  3. In Obsidian, go to N2O Settings > Account.
  4. Paste the license key and click Activate.
  5. Pro features unlock immediately.

A paid license covers 2 of your devices. To free a slot, deactivate on a device you no longer use.

Try all Pro features free for 14 days - no credit card required:

  1. Go to N2O Settings > Account.
  2. Under Start your trial, click Connect to Notion.
  3. Connect your Notion workspace. The 14-day trial starts automatically and Pro features activate immediately.

The trial includes every Pro feature - two-way sync, automatic inbound and outbound syncing, and custom templates - on up to 2 of your devices, the same as a paid licence. It caps you at 300 pages (Pro is unlimited), with unlimited databases, and it runs for 14 days. You get one trial running at a time. If you did not get a fair run at it, reply to any of my trial emails and ask, and I will put more time on it.
